Matthew Bauer is a Class of 2027 right-handed pitcher, infielder, and outfielder at Cactus Shadows High School in Cave Creek, Arizona. As a junior in 2026 he earned All-Region Honorable Mention in the AIA 4A Desert Sky region while contributing on the mound and around the diamond for the Falcons varsity. In varsity action he hit .500 with a .615 on-base percentage, and his fastball sits at 80 mph (Perfect Game verified, May 2026), up 17 mph since 2022. He plays travel ball for Krigare Athletics. In the classroom he carries a 3.6 GPA and plans to study [MAJOR].

Matthew is a two-way player who competes in the strike zone, defends all over the diamond (third base, middle infield, first base, and the outfield), and drives the ball to all fields. He is looking for a program where he can develop as a pitcher and a hitter, contribute early, and earn a [MAJOR] degree.
